How We Impact the Community

Founded in 1918, IIBA has helped immigrants, refugees, and their families join and contribute to the community.

In 2013 the Napa Valley Community Foundation invited IIBA to open an office in Napa to close the county’s citizenship gap. Recognizing that immigrants are an integral part of the fabric of this community, we opened our doors in 2013 and have provided 10,500+ legal consultations, filed 6,100+ immigration cases, and helped 2,000+ individuals become U.S. citizens. Each year we serve approximately 1000 individuals.

By making a gift to IIBA, you are investing in Napa’s future by helping immigrant families establish or deepen their roots in the Napa Valley. Those who are eligible can secure work authorization, green cards and citizenship, correlated with higher income, greater stability, and improved health and educational outcomes.

Help us provide a brighter future for immigrants who live and work in Napa County with a donation today!

Testimonial

IIBA keeps families together. I have become a citizen, my parents and brother obtained their green card, and my other brother became a beneficiary of DACA. IIBA has had a tremendous impact on our lives.
