How We Impact the Community
Each year 1,000 Napa residents receive the information, legal advice and representation needed to advance towards citizenship and lessen fears of deportation.
Your support can change the lives of some of Napa County’s most vulnerable community members. IIBA helps immigrants, refugees, and their families join and contribute to the community by providing high-quality, affordable immigration legal services, education, and civic engagement opportunities.
Napa Valley Community Foundation invited IIBA to open our Napa office in 2013 to close this county’s citizenship gap. Since then, almost 2,000 Napa residents have become U.S. Citizens, 9,000 have received legal advice, and 5,000 have filed applications for immigration relief. This results in better employment opportunities, access to healthcare, family stability and community safety.
Napa Valley values our immigrant neighbors, recognizing the essential roles immigrants have in our community. Help us to remove barriers so that all community members can reach their fullest potential.
