How We Impact the Community

To achieve this, we partner with students from low-income backgrounds in their sophomore year of high school and work with them for seven-to-nine years in a program that includes intensive, year-round mentoring, summer experiential learning opportunities, post-secondary and financial aid advising, professional development coaching, and continued mentoring as these students progress on their post-secondary pathways.

Last year we served 197 students across Napa County, many of them first-generation college students whose families had a median income of $35,397. Our goals for the next year are to see 100% of our Napa County seniors graduate from high school, 90% attend a 2- or 4- year college, and 70% attain a bachelor’s degree.

Our comprehensive services help students achieve a sense of purpose. We believe our world is better off when everyone can discover their purpose. Join us in our work to help Napa students thrive!

Summer Search has been an amazing tool for insight into my life, during high school and after. All the resources I received have had great impact and will serve as a future reference.

~ Soel, Napa Student
