American Canyon Soroptimist

We are proud to provide services that actively work to decrease senior isolation and raise awareness of gender-based violence, to provide scholarships to high school seniors and to those pursuing higher education while being head of household, and to work with our high school “S” club to actively support local students.

We also act in partnership to respond to various community needs benefitting women and girls. These endeavors include donating pajamas to foster kids, supporting Girls on the Run both financially and through volunteering, providing 40 Hope Bags each year to survivors of domestic abuse and sex trafficking, and supporting NEWS in their mission. Our work is unique in that it focuses on women and girls’ empowerment and is always done by volunteers, all of whom are very passionate about fulfilling our mission.
