Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley

How We Impact the Community
Our Clubs serve over 2,700 youth across 13 sites in Napa and American Canyon every day, providing vital academic enrichment, homework help, and tutoring—especially for English Language Learners (ELLs) and first-generation students. Many of our members are still recovering from the learning loss caused by COVID-19, and we are working hard to help them meet and exceed academic benchmarks. Over 74% of our members live below the area’s median income. Thanks to generous support from donors like you, no child is ever turned away due to an inability to pay. Our programs ensure every child has access to safe, supportive spaces where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Beyond academics, we emphasize social-emotional learning and mental well-being, helping youth build resilience, confidence, and leadership skills. Our clubs also support families by offering reliable care during critical out-of-school hours, reducing risk and increasing stability. As a result, our impact extends beyond our members—strengthening families, fostering equity, and building a stronger, more inclusive community for all.
Testimonial
The Boys & Girls Club has shaped my journey—from teen member to Area Director. It gave me mentors, purpose, and the foundation to become the first in my family to graduate college. Today, I lead with gratitude, knowing youth development isn’t just a job—it’s my calling and a full-circle mission.
