How We Impact the Community

We provide a safe, positive, and unique place where kids and teens from St. Helena and Calistoga can learn, grow, and belong. More than 1,300 youth walk through our doors each year —63% qualify for free or reduced lunch, and many face barriers to success that extend beyond the classroom. We offer daily after school programs, seasonal summer camps, and regular teen services that include academic support, mental health retreats, job readiness training, and mentorship.

Our staff—most of whom reflect the backgrounds of the youth we serve—create consistent, caring relationships that make all the difference. We also rely on volunteers, community partners, and donor support to help us meet growing needs.

Whether it’s a kindergartener learning to read, a teen exploring college options, or a child finding joy and safety in play, we help local youth discover their strengths and realize their full potential. Every donation helps us provide hope, opportunity, and a sense of belonging—right here in our community.

Testimonial

The opportunities and relationships our Clubs provide are essential for helping young people reach their full potential. As the needs of kids rise, we are committed to meeting those needs through strong programs and exceptional staff. We will continue working to be effective, efficient, and serve even more young people.
