How We Impact the Community
Since 1988, NPRF has partnered closely with the City of Napa to build a world-class parks and recreation system that ensures all residents and visitors have equal access to parks, programs, and facilities. We inspire a healthier, more connected community by advocating for and funding opportunities that promote lifelong learning, exploration, healthy lifestyles and play in our city.
Past projects include Arbor Day celebrations, building Playground Fantastico, providing youth recreation programs, Senior Activity Center fitness equipment, playground equipment replacements, and Friends of Westwood Hills Park improvements. In 2024, the program provided funding for 64 scholarship recipients, a total allocation of $15,000, to participate in either 2-week summer camp programs (21%) or a series of swim lessons or aquatics related programs (79%). The average scholarship allocation was $238 per child, ages 3 to 16 years old.
With your support, we can continue to empower our community, and positively influence the health and wellness of thousands of residents and visitors who live, work, and play here each day.
