How We Impact the Community
School gardens don’t just grow plants—they grow community, hands-on learning, and environmental stewardship. We share resources with teachers, schools, and community partners to strengthen garden programs. We are a grassroots collective dedicated to sustaining school gardens and the educators behind them.
School gardens with dedicated committees and curriculum are 4x more likely to succeed—and we’re here to help make that happen. Our Board members serve on garden committees to help schools access knowledge, funding, and community connections. Through special grants and pilot programs, like our Monarch Education Project, we support schools with innovative, sustainable garden projects.
Your donation brings these opportunities to schools that need them most. Your support will also help create The Sunflower Award to honor school garden projects and student gardeners.
