ParentsCAN
$4,745 raised from 60 donations

How We Impact the Community
When kids have a disability or challenge, they have to have support from their parents, schools, and doctors to grow, learn, and thrive. ParentsCAN provides free services to more than 5,000 families every year to make sure that Napa children can get help and care when they need it most.
We opened our doors in 1995 as a few local parents determined to do better for children with
disabilities. Two decades later, ParentsCAN’s staff is trained and professional, but still all parents or family members of a child with special needs. Just like our founders, they’re passionate about bright futures for children with disabilities, because they’ve walked the same path as the clients they help.
Right now, as programs are cut and resources are even harder to find, the moms and dads who come to us are more confused and overwhelmed than ever. It is critically important that ParentsCAN is here to provide information, education, and support for families as they build better outcomes and brighter futures for their children.
Testimonial
I’m confident that now I can help my son when he struggles, and deal with the things that come up, instead of feeling overwhelmed and out of control. We actually talk every day–and it’s not just yelling at each other.
