Soroptimist International of Napa

Soroptimist International of Napa is a volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. Since our start in 1939, our organization's mission is to support women and girls to Educate-Enable-Empower them to a future of self-determination and success.

Our vision is for women and girls to have the resources and opportunities to reach their full potential and live their dreams. We are one of the few local organizations that provides grants to women re-entering higher education or training to improve their lives, and the lives of their families – called the “Live Your Dream” award.

Other educationally focused programs include “Think Green” for middle schoolers, “Future is You” emphasizing 1st generation college goers, and “Violet Richardson” awarded for high school volunteerism. We strongly believe that educated women are strong women!
