How We Impact the Community
CANV is dedicated to supporting the well-being and self-sufficiency of Napa Valley’s most vulnerable populations. Serving over 15,000 individuals monthly through food pantries and delivering 450 daily meals to seniors at no charge via Meals on Wheels, CANV plays a crucial role in the community. Our unique CANV Kids program further supports families by providing nurturing care and educational opportunities for children.
What sets us apart is its deep local integration and responsiveness to the specific needs of Napa Valley residents. The organization’s operations are primarily powered by a dedicated volunteer workforce, enhancing our community-driven mission. This volunteer involvement not only expands our reach but also fortifies community connections, building a robust support network.
As a first responder during disasters, CANV’s role is vital in providing immediate aid and long-term support. This aligns with our mission to “provide services and resources that promote and encourage self-sufficiency of the most vulnerable members of our community,” making CANV indispensable in fostering a resilient and thriving Napa Valley.
