How We Impact the Community
We are a Napa County–based nonprofit working to prevent fentanyl-related tragedies through education, awareness, and community outreach. Founded in memory of our son Michael, who lost his life to fentanyl poisoning in 2020, we aim to protect others by equipping youth, families, and schools with life-saving information about the dangers of counterfeit pills and the prevalence of fentanyl in other street drugs.
Through school presentations, community events, and free naloxone safety kits, we spark critical conversations and work to reduce stigma around substance use. Our outreach is driven by lived experience and a deep commitment to keeping other families from suffering similar loss.
We’ve distributed thousands of educational materials, trained hundreds on naloxone use, and provided resources that have helped families and community members start difficult but necessary conversations. Our work offers hope, builds awareness, and honors lives lost. As our mission states, we are committed to creating a safer, more informed, and connected community.
