How We Impact the Community
As Napa County’s Family Justice Center, Monarch empowers survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, and human trafficking. Our unique approach lies in our collaborative, one-stop service model, where we unite over a dozen partner public and private agencies from Napa County under one roof. We promote a client-centered, empathic model of survivor care by offering a robust framework for holistic, barrier-free services.
We assist survivors as they access legal assistance, contact law enforcement, assert confidential advocacy, and/or seek out counseling, safety planning, housing resources, and health services—all in a safe, trauma-informed environment. Our integrated model reduces the number of places survivors must go for help, allowing them to begin healing without added burdens.
Since opening, Monarch has served thousands of individuals, fostering safety, stability, and long-term resilience. Through prevention education, outreach, and direct services, we strive to break cycles of violence and create a healthier, more informed community. Monarch is more than a service hub—it is a symbol of hope and strength for Napa County.
Testimonial
Monarch provided invaluable support during my darkest times after escaping an abusive and traumatizing relationship. Their compassionate resources and empowering environment helped me rebuild my life. Inspired by their mission, I now proudly serve on their board, dedicated to helping others find hope and healing just as I did.
