Making a difference one child at a time – supporting children in foster careSince 1996, CASA has helped thousands of abused and neglected children in foster care. By state statute there is only one CASA program in each county.
CASA representatives meet with children weekly, forming a vital relationship and assessing needs. During the time a child is in the foster care system, they will have, on average, 5 different social workers and 3 foster care placements. CASA provides the only consistent adult that follows the child throughout the time they are in foster care. We build trusting relationships with the children, provide them with essential and non-essential items, and help them cope with adversity and develop resilience.
Having a long-term, stable and positive relationship with a trained adult is the single most important factor influencing positive outcomes for children in foster care. We provide educational, emotional, physical and early intervention services for children of all ages.

Donated: $12,815Donations: 106Innovations Community Center
We’re not just a program, we’re a movement and a home for healingWe don’t treat clients, we build community.
Innovations Community Center, created by On the Move Bay Area, is Napa’s only peer-led wellness hub, created by people who’ve lived through trauma, navigated mental health systems, and transformed their recovery into leadership.
Co-created by peers and mental health professionals through a grassroots project to imagine something different, ICC is a space where those seeking help can also find belonging. Healing here is relational, creative, and cultural. We don’t offer cold, clinical care. We offer recovery groups, expressive arts, wellness workshops, and leadership pathways.
What makes ICC unique is our staff. Many first came for their own healing and found connection, purpose, and community- so they stayed. They became volunteers, then peer leaders, and now coordinate the programs that once helped them. The people providing care are the people who’ve lived it, and that’s the power of ICC.
Last year, 632 people came through our doors. But what we measure isn’t numbers, it’s moments of courage, connection, and hope. We’re not just a program, we’re a movement, and a home, for healing.

Working to preserve, protect and promote agricultural land in Napa CountyWe are dedicated to preserving farmland and promoting the Agricultural Preserve throughout Napa — protecting the heart of Napa Valley, and the foundation of our region’s rural character and agricultural heritage since 1968.
Our mission is to conserve this irreplaceable landscape by educating the public and local leaders about the Ag Preserve’s history and the vital role of protected farmland in sustaining Napa communities. No other organization places farmland protection at the core of its vision.
We advance this mission in three key ways:
1) Education: We fund agricultural scholarships and programs that highlight the Ag Preserve’s central role in Napa. In 2025, we’re launching public education initiatives at the Napa County Library and the Napa Valley History Museum.
2) Advocacy & Research: We support research on sustainable land use and promote policies that defend agricultural lands from development.
3) Preservation of History: With UC Davis, we’re digitizing two sets of historical Ag Preserve documents to make them publicly accessible.Donated: $11,150Donations: 31Leadership Napa Valley

Donated: $4,090Donations: 44Napa Bunnies
Dedicated to helping rabbits and providing resources to their guardiansOur all-volunteer, foster-based rabbit rescue started out in November 2019 when several individuals came together to clear a site of abandoned domestic rabbits in the city of Napa. Our mission is to improve the lives of rabbits and reduce the number of unwanted rabbits through education and spay/neuter efforts. In addition to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming, we focus on the welfare of domestic rabbits and educating the public on the responsible and proper care of rabbits as indoor companions.
Rabbits make wonderful companions, but they are not inexpensive, nor are they “easy pets” to care for. They require a 10+ year commitment and their needs are often misunderstood. In 2024 alone Napa Bunnies rescued 64 rabbits, found homes for 52, saw 79 rabbits at our quarterly community wellness and vaccination clinics and facilitated 28 additional specialized procedures. Through our educational and prevention-focused services we have reached existing and potential bunny guardians throughout the community. Occasionally, this means helping someone determine that a rabbit is not the right fit for their family.

Donated: $5,850Donations: 51Napa Wildlife Rescue
We aim to KEEP NAPA WILD through rescue, rehabilitation, release and community educationWithout NWR, injured and orphaned wildlife in Napa would have little chance of survival. We are the only organization in Napa authorized to rescue, treat, and release wildlife back to the wild. Whether it’s a fallen nest, an animal struck by a car, or an abandoned litter, we are there to help.
Since 2013, NWR has cared for over 15,000 animals. In 2024, we answered over 1,700 calls for help and admitted over 1,425 animals from 130 species.
Our free educational program teaches children about wildlife, biodiversity, and human impact. Through visits with our animal ambassadors, over 1,300 children in Napa County learned the importance of respecting and protecting local wildlife and habitats.
NWR also assists local agricultural communities with rodent control. Through our Barn Owl Monitoring Program (BOMP), we sell, install, clean, and monitor nesting boxes as a natural alternative to pesticides that can harm other wildlife.
Our services are free. The costs we incur are significant, but the impact on wildlife and the community is immeasurable. Your donations make it possible to save wild lives.

We train youth. We build tools. We reimagine healthcare access. We advance neuroscientific research and provide training that becomes improved healthcare for the underserved. We do this by developing medical technologies that address urgent gaps in care, while mentoring the next generation of scientists and engineers.
Since 2017, we’ve provided hands-on internships to over 40 high school students, primarily from Napa Valley. Interns work alongside our scientists, physicians, and engineers on real-world research in neuroscience, AI, and biomedical engineering. They gain first-hand experience in designing experiments, building prototypes, and analyzing data.
Our most ambitious project to date, developed with help from former interns, is the Virtual Neurologist, an AI tool designed to diagnose strokes in ambulances and rural hospitals where specialists are scarce. One of our high school interns, who contributed to the Virtual Neurologist project, was accepted into the BSMD program at Sidney Kimmel Medical College.
We also offer the NeuroSpring Scholarship, awarded to promising interns continuing their education in science and medicine. Two students have received this honor, and our very first intern recently completed a Master’s in Neuroscience and is now applying to MD-PhD programs.

We also offer spay/neuter vouchers to reduce unwanted litters, already distributing 29 in 2025, compared to 23 total in 2024, reflecting the growing need in our community.
In addition to prevention work, we rescue and secure appropriate adoption for pets, focusing on those with medical or behavioral issues. With expert care, time, and love, we help these animals (who might otherwise wait months, years, or a lifetime for adoption) heal and find permanent homes.
